I would like to warn PowerForum members about a scam website operating at:
    ecohubza.com
The scam website is advertising solar equipment, lithium batteries and related backup-power products under the name “Eco Hub ZA” and is impersonating our business in this category.
The domain ecohubza.com has no connection to EcoHub (Pty) Ltd.
The scam website is using a business name and domain that are confusingly similar to ours. Its sponsored Google Shopping advertisements have also appeared alongside our genuine EcoHub business listing, creating a risk that customers may believe they are dealing with EcoHub.
We have contacted suppliers whose solar and battery products are being advertised on the website. These suppliers have confirmed that the seller is not an authorised reseller and has no legitimate trading relationship with them.
Please do not place an order, provide personal information or make payment through ecohubza.com believing that you are dealing with EcoHub.
    For clarity:
    Official EcoHub website:
    https://www.ecohub.co.za/
    Scam website:
    ecohubza.com
The scam website is currently targeting customers searching for solar equipment, lithium batteries and backup-power products.
We have reported the website and its advertising accounts to Google Ads, Google Merchant Center and the relevant service providers.
We have also published a detailed public warning here:
    https://www.ecohub.co.za/scam-warning-ecohubza-com/
I am posting this to warn potential customers and to create a clear public record that ecohubza.com and the advertiser using the name “Eco Hub ZA” are not connected to, authorised by or affiliated with EcoHub (Pty) Ltd.

DylanP got a reaction from zsde in Geyser repair / upgrade to solar
Thanks for all the replies. I'll go over them this evening.
    So the geyser is gone.
Have not yet put in an insurance claim, as I'm sure they'll just replace it with a similar one. It's 150L - don't think I really needs such a big geyser. Small household.
Guess I can now consider all options.

DylanP got a reaction from LawnDolar in New Garage Automation / Ideas ?
    Hi
Just busy with foundation for a new garage.
Don't quite have space for a full double garage. I need storage space.
So the width will be just short of a double garage. Single garage door with a good amount of storage space to the side.
Trying to decide on the garage door motor, automations etc.
I have Centurion D5 smart motors at 2 properties. They seem to work well. Easy to configure via the app. So was thinking of going for Centurion product for the garage door.
Pool pump and a few other devices on Sonoff.
The garage will have access from my office. I'll be walking in the for work regularly.
Putting a proper ceiling in there, and like the idea of downlights in the ceiling, perhaps with a motion sensor?
Any other cool ideas for a new garage?
