Axpert not switching back to solar on SOL/SBU
Hi All! I have a problem with my Axpert inverters not switching back to solar or battery as primary output source for loads when it is set to SOL or SBU. I have a off-grid system (no Eskom): 2x Axpert 5000-48, v74.10 24x 320W panels 14.8kWh LiFePO4 bank I have recently purchaced a 5kva honda generator to supplement the load on rainy days if i want to use woodwork machinery or weld ect. If i set them to SOL and disconnect the pv from the inverters (open the fuses) the generator (gridside) takes over the load if it is running. That is good, but as soon as i connect the pv again the system does not swich back to Solar/battery as priority. It doesnt want to let go of the generator and keeps it as the only primary source for the loads (like Uti). This causes problems because 5kva is easily overloaded on our system. I would ideally like the generator to supplement the solar/battery on cloudy/rainy days and still have access to all of the 10kw that the inverters can supply. I have the following settings set: 1: SOL 2: 10A (in order to rule this out as the problem) 11: 2A (in order to rule this out as the problem) 12: 44v (logic: swich to utility source as late as possible) 13: 48v (logic: swich back to battery mode as soon as possible) 16: SNU 23: bYE 26: 54.6v 27: 53.8v 29: 47.0v 31: SbE Q2) Also is there no way to limit the Amp draw from the grid/generator side in order not to overload the generator? If any one can help/guide me i will really appreciate it.

BYD 10kWh Lithium 48V Quote
Good Day Guys, Lasy month while i was out to do a bit of shopping in the major city/town close to me i went into one of the electrical wholesale suppliers and receive a quote for a complete 10kWh BYD Lithium 48V Battery Bank with BMS for R44800 excl Vat. Im curious on what the current most affordable Lithium banks are as i bought my SolarMD blue CALB battery bank last year and they were one of the cheapest i could find.

Close relay using Axpert Inverter
Hi Chris, Thank you for your reply. So do i understand you correctly that the relay will then close everytime the bat V reaches the full voltage and would open again when it dips? This would be a proplem as the pump will then switch on and off unnecessary. I only want the pump to switch on once a day to extend my pump life. I thought about my setup yesterday and i think i should rather change the pump switch to a Lux meter, as i think this might better suit my needs as the pump will then only swith on when the lux is enough, which would satisfy condition 1. I could then add a timer to delay the start to a later time in the morning to possibly satisfy condition 2&3 as well, or i could just up the lux to add a delay. Do you have any input on my thoughts? Thank you again for your time.

Close relay using Axpert Inverter
Good Day Everyone!, Currently im running offgrid with 2x Axpert inverters (10kW), 7,8kW PV and a 7.4kWh litium battery bank from SolarMD. I would like to know if it is possible to close a relay using the inverters when the following conditions are met: The sun is giving power to the panels (it is not an overcast day) The battery is charged (relatively) There is not too much draw on the system (if possible) I would like to start a pump when these conditions are (mostly) met. Can i use Program 38 (Dry contact Signal) to do this and how would i go about it? Would greatly appreciate any feedback. Baie dankie
