no worries. figured this one out..

I have recently moved in to my new house. It has an older Sunsync 8kw invertor with serial number starting with 22. When I try run firmware update on the app I recieve a warning that I need to contact support for serials starting with 22 and older. Who is this "support"? Anyone local? Thanks!

OK. I will only have my funds come lose when my sold(only sold now) house registration goes through. Therefore I will go fetch my battery bank at my old house and use at the new house. Sorry another question. What comms cable for the Pylons with the Sunsync. Bear in mind I dont hav"the cables that came with" I already converted my Pylon comms cable to work with my Victron setup and the other house cable is Sunsync to shoto. I need a cable for Sunsync to UP5000's Anyone that can perhaps help with a quick pinout for me to crimp? I was going to wait but waking up to no power (after the power went out last night) just made me take this decision on short notice

Do I need any special comms cables? Or just use the one that comes with the battery?

I am purchasing a house and it has the above mentioned invertor and 7e 540w panels on one string. I believe the sunsync has duel MPPT's and was wondering if they really are separate. As in can I put another string on the invertor that is not the same panel spec as the existing one? Also I believe I could add one 540w panel to make an 8 panel string and still be well within the max V. I know one should not mix and match panels but getting hold of a 540 to put in there is not so easy. I cant imagine there will be an issue with any panel as long as its current throughput is higher or equal to the panels in series already? Also the second string. Help me understand. will there be issues if I just use 8 panels of higher wattage? Also, I am thinking of putting a Dyness Powerbrick Max in as the storage. That which is there is not adequate and will need replacing. Any issues with comms between Sunsync and Dyness?

OK. I am going to leave the systems where they are and just add to the new installation... To many things that can go wrong during removals and swaps etc..

I have the batteries where I am now. WIll want to take them with. If not all of them maybe just two UP5000's. can always add again to that. that will leave 3 us3000's

wont be taking the panels with. I have 12 550's and new house 6. 550's. I will just add another 6 there...

I have a dual Victron Multi II 3kva setup with 250vMPPT and a stack of pylons. I recently purchased a house and will lily have the opportunity to move my setup before my previous house sells. The new house has a sunsync 5kw. I am seriously considering taking my existing setup and just swapping it. Any ideas/Suggestions? Existing setup is mounted on a wooden panel so should be "fairly" simple to swap.

yeah. you can pick up new ones for less than 9k now. almost fell on my back when I saw that. insane how cheap they are now
