BMS an unnecessary waste of money and energy?
Is there a module or control unit that can read and understand different BMS's of different makes. This to add different makes of BMS / batteries to one inverter.

Pylontech 3000C and 3000
I have an Axpert King 5K , Raspberry Pi with Pylontech 3000C cable, Pylontech 1 x 3000C as master and 2 x Pylontech 3000 batteries and 12 x 330 PV panels. The issue I have is that the 3000C as master keep on providing an alarm since I have added it to the pack. 2021/05/07 I notice when the alarm is on that the SOC on the 3 batteries are different or jumping around. Normally indicating 44% and 66% I see this normally happen only when the Inverter is in battery mode and not on Grid or PV. Once I reset the batteries I see that the SOC are different and that the 3000C has the highest SOC. 3000C = 63 3000 = 21 and 3000 = 50

Voltronic Axpert King 5KW,12 x 330W PV,1xPylon Tech 3.5KW
I did change the following but it just change back to 53.2V on both. I think it is related to 5 =Battery type = PYL #26=Bulk Charge Voltage: Recommended voltage here in the forum for Pylons is 52.5V #27=Float Charge Voltage: Recommended voltage here in the forum for Pylons is 51.8V

RobM I adjust it manually every time. 1 =Output source priority SUB from 6 PM to 6AM then on SBU

Voltronic Axpert King 5KW,12 x 330W PV,1xPylon Tech 3.5KW
What is your average load during daytime and nighttime respectively? Day average is about 1000W and when pool pump comes on it is about 2200W. Night time it is about 1000W down to about 500W Do you have any data available on your PV production on a normal day? When looking on WatchPower it normally show just above what power are used. I see when load is high then it will provide about 3050W max What is your 'Charger Source Priority' (#16 on my Axpert) set to? SLB/UDC 29 units a day does seem quite high, what runs solely on the grid? Kitchen appliances when needed. Kettle, Microwave ,Oven and geyser hour at night when not hot enough from solar and hour in the morning.

Voltronic Axpert King 5KW,12 x 330W PV,1xPylon Tech 3.5KW
Hi I am a newbie in need of advise. My setup is Axpert 5Kva 5000w MPPT King Inverter, 12 x 330W PV, 1 x Pylon Tech 3.5KW. Special cable between Inverter and Battery provided by Inverter supplier for BMS. DC board split in two, Kitchen except refrigerator on Mains and rest of house on inverter. Solar Geyser Gas Stove Setting in inverter are 1 =Output source priority SUB from 6 PM to 6AM then on SBU 2 =Maximum charging current 10A 5 =Battery type PYL 6 =Auto restart when overload occurs Restart Enable 7 =Auto restart when over temperature occurs Restart Enable 10 =Operation Logic Auto 11 =Maximum utility charging current 30A 12= Setting voltage point back to utility source when selecting “S BU” (SBU priority) or “SUB” (Solar first) in program 01 46V 13 Setting voltage point back to battery mode when =selecting “SBU” (SBU priority) or “SUB” (Solar first) in program 01 51V 16 Solar energy priority =To configure solar energy priority for battery and load SLB/UDC 23= Bypass function: Bypass Enable 26= Bulk charging voltage (C.V voltage) 53.2V 27 =Floating charging voltage 53.2V 29= Low DC cut off voltage: 47V 32 =Bulk charging time Auto charging time Is the settings correct in Inverter? How can I lower units use per day as I use 28 units per day still. Thank you
