HI Hope you all doing well. I have a sunsynk 8kw inverter with 5 pylontech UP5000 batteries. This all works great and im loving the sunsynk. My question is i managed to buy a couple of sunsynk batteries from a friend of mine that is leaving. I know the inverter only has one com port for a battery bank. Is it possible to run two different battery banks with some sort of intermediate BMS or battery com system? I know with victron systems you connect batteries to a com system then to the inverter? thanks in advance for the help. I would hate these batteries to go waste.

Morning Thanks for the reply. I would also think if I changed the AC charge values the BMS shouldn't change them back.

Hi Everyone Please could someone help with the issue im having. I have an Axpert MKS4 with three UP5000 batteries. Everything connected with com cable so BMS controls the charging current. Im trying to lower the max AC change current to 30A. I have a smaller breaker and the BMS sometimes takes it up to 120A. Every time i change the setting it changes it straight back. How do i get this max AC charging current to stay without removing the com cable and setting up manually. I dont want to void the battery warranty and if the com cable is removed isnt the warranty void? thanks

I'm having the same issue with my infinity MKSIV. I'm tried making all the cables stated above with no luck. Still error 61. Thinking of leaving it on USE but the battery percentage is always wrong. Don't know what to anymore.

These guys are 100% a scam. Them battery experts and galactic solar are all the same people scamming. You can see the websites are all cut and paste with the same information. They wanted payment upfront thank goodness I refused. They promised delivery and I'm still waiting. Promised 10am then 3pm for three days. Just call them and have a chat you will laugh at how blatent a scam this is 😂. Please don't get caught.

Hey Wonder if anyone can help here? I just installed a new Sunsynk 8kw with pylontech Up5000 batteries. With my last inverter I was able to see how long I had on battery discharge till I hit a certain percentage, mine was 20%. This is a nice feature to see how much battery life you still have at the current discharge rate. I don't see anything similar on the Sunsynk app or inverter? When the battery is discharging you have no idea how long you have till the battery turns off at 20% SOC.

Hey Guys Hope you all doing well. Hopefully someone can help me out with a question i have about my new batteries. I have 3 UP5000 batteries connected to a Kodak MKSIII. iv left the setting on the inverter as Pylontech batteries so the BMS is controlling all the figures. Was a little skeptical to play with any settings as the batteries are a little pricey. Now the bulk and float charge is set to 53.2 back to discharge at 54. It seems like the batteries always charge up to 50.5 then they show full. It has never gone up to 53.2. The available amp hours also show as 298 and should be 300 at full. I know its just a small amount just wondering if the setting are all correct? thanks in advance
