Axpert VM III 5kw Inverter and canadian solar panels advise
Hi the quotes I got for axpert with batteries, panels and installation was about 125k 5kw axpert Inverter 3900w 12x 325w panels 2x 3500w pylontech batteries Monitoring box combiner box and installation. But then I got quotes for victron Heralds electrical's prices was a bit wild. Went with Sonop solar as they deliver country wide and have good prices I went with smaller mono panels and smaller batteries, but me and a buddy did the installation ourselves. So I saved about 15k to 20k on the installation. So for just the equipment it worked out about the same as the axpert with installation.-I did install smaller batteries- will add on another battery this year still. So with installation a Victron setup will be about 145k to 150k I assume.

Hybrid inverter and prepaid meter
Anybody know's if this will work with any other inverters? Some people on 4x4 forum says it works with most inverters? Hopefully it will work with a goodwe or infinisolar? https://www.sustainable.co.za/microcare-kaco-single-phase-grid-tie-limiter.html

Hybrid inverter and prepaid meter
I have a Talexus Actarus. The installer gave the meter one look and said he recommends a axpert, so don't know if I must maybe settle for a infinisolar e 5.5kw ?

Hybrid inverter and prepaid meter
Hi Are there any SANS approve hybrid inverter that doesn't trip a prepaid meter? My installer says goodwe 4.6kw will trip my prepaid meter and wants to install a Axpert 5kw MKS now, but looks like there is a issue with the axpert also if I look at the " Is your system legal?" section...

Goodwe 4.6 install.
My prepaid meter is a Talexus Actarus.

Goodwe 4.6 install.
Will it do anything to my prepaid meter?

Victron Easysolar 5kVA or Goodwe 5048D-ES
Hi, thanks for info.

Victron Easysolar 5kVA or Goodwe 5048D-ES
Hi, can anybody tell me if the goodwe 5048d-es can be setup to prioritize it's power sources? Solar power when PV is sufficient, if PV is insufficient use the batteries and when the batteries are drained only then use utility power?

Goodwe 4.6 install.
Hi can anybody tell me if the goodwe can be setup to use solar in the day and at night to drain the pylontech batteries first before switching to utility power? some sales people say it will only drain the batteries if there's no solar or utility power?

But now the other question is will the 3.5kw pylontech batteries be compatible with the mks ii inverters?

Looked on the internet, vm ii doesn't support parallel. Looks like my best bet is then to parallel 2 mks ii 5kw inverters?

Axpert VM III 5kw Inverter and canadian solar panels advise
Hi will 12x 360W Kumax canadian solar panels work with the Axpert VM III 5Kw? Or will I have to buy 2x Axpert VM II 5kw inverters and parallel them? Inverter MAX PV Array power is 5000w - My panels will be 4320w The specs of the axpert inverter says max PV Array open circuit voltage 500V, but my 12 panels will be 564v together?- will this be an issue? The inverter's max operating voltage is 450v- there the panels together will give 433.2v in total Panels specs ELECTRICAL DATA | STC* CS3U 360P Nominal Max. Power (Pmax) 360 W Opt.
