  1. Thanx will check the setting
  2. Contact the electrical contracting board. They will guide you. What ever you do do not pay him unless he gives you the C.o.C
  3. The unit has a coms port. So you will need to get the port to usb cable. I've the same setup for my clients for the same reasons.
  4. Hi I am an installer as well as a solar owner. I my self could not afford to pay for the system cash as many of my clients can't either. I made a loan and I'm paying the bank as well as eskom. Eskom as a back up and solar as my main source. I do pay a bit more but at the end of 5 years the system is mine and from there on out it is free. One of the more important choices that I had to make was the battery bank. I installed flooded lead acids which I could maintain. After a year I got worried about the life span of the batteries as i would have to replace them with in 3 years. I came across the supercapacitor sirius model of kilowatt labs. I have since extended my loan and even tough my payment is higher than initially one have to take into consideration that the battery has a 10 year warranty and a 45 year life expectancy. Well now I have a life long system. I know there might be hiccups with electronics but the system is much more robust with the right battery.
  5. I have been installing kilowatt labs sirius modules and I have not once been disappointed. They have 10 year warentey with a 45 year life expectancy. Best of all no managing system needed between axpert and battery.
  6. Hi I have a maccer 5kva inverter(voltronic inverter). I have the probleme that computers is shutting down when the inverter does a transfer. I know the king inverters has a 0 transfer time but except for changing the inverter is there any way too maintain power during transfers? My thoughts where to connect a capacitor on the load side to smooth the transfer out. Another option is to add several smaller ups's but this is kind of defying the point of installing the 5kva inverter in the first place.

  8. I have changed my geyser element to 2kw
  9. Your callculations is spot on except for the 5 hour sun time. In winter it is about 4 hours dependeing where you are situated.I would also recomend you to compare prises on the killowatt lab battery to you lithium bateries you have up to 3 times faster charge rates on them and you don't need a special charge controle system like in the case of lithium.
