  1. Thanks FixAMess I appreciate your response and input, but I have no idea what you are talking about, I only know Excel, I am not familiar with going into the software. I also see there is some writing underneath your screen shots which might explain a bit better. I take it the serial cable plugs into the computer but there is no USB on the batteries. Again thanks for your input but it seems like this is a sure way for me to "break" my batteries.
  2. I also wanted the same as before, but my supplier only had one, therefore I was unfortunately forced to take two C's.
  3. Hi Paul Yes I have, the seller said they are fully compatible as long as I make one of them master. I also purchased the new PylonTech cable cable from ICC and they also confirmed compatibility. But I tend to want to agree with you about not playing well.
  4. Hi Guys Jaco have you heard back or is your issue sorted? I recently added two US3000C's to my existing four US3000 PylonTechs and balanced them as instructed. I made the new US3000C's master and number two. All seems to charge normal on ac or PV. Discharge through the night is normal until sunrise when PV kicks in, the master goes into protection with solid red light. I swopped master and number two around, making number two now master, but same thing happens at sunrise. ICC reads all normal with the exception of cycles on the older batteries as I was informed firmware needs to be changed (No idea how to do this either). Does anybody have an idea what is causing this alarm/protection or how to solve it? Many Thanks
  5. I checked the two outputs separately before joining them together as Coulomb suggested and it looked like it would parallel. At this time I only have PV connected to one inverter, the 71.80 which is the master. This morning I made 71.70 the master and now it reads PV. If I had the guts to flash my firmware, I would most definitely make both inverters the same. Problem is, I have no idea where to start or what to do. I tried contacting Mustek to see if they are willing to help, but I just can't get hold of anybody other than the switchboard.
  6. Thanks Riff-Raf, I have paralleled the 71.70 and 71.80 and it seems to be running fine. Only problem I now see, is ICC not reading any PV watts.
  7. Thanks Coulomb for your input. I will do so as soon as I have every thing ready for installing my 2nd inverter. If it does not work out, I will ask for some assistance.
  8. Hi guys I am also new to this forum and really appreciate all the valuable input. Me too have an older MKS 2 with 71.70 firmware and now purchased a second unit with 71.80 firmware. Do I understand correct if I say those two units can be paralleled without changing firmware? My knowledge and abilities regarding software is very limited. I will need a lot of guidance if I have to change my firmware. Thanks
  9. Thanks Wolfandy, like I said before, hopefully my installer will meet me tomorrow and produce what is needed. If not, I will have to take the change and make an internet purchase. It's a lot of money to be wasted with the type of delivery services we have in our beautiful country. I will however have to take that chance. Thanks, Tubby
  10. Hi Wolfandy/ Youda Many thanks for your responses. My installer has contacted me since my posting on the forum and arranged to meet with me tomorrow. I like the idea of ICC software, but can I load it on my computer without using a Raspberry or is that required? I would still need to get hold of the PylonTech cable. Is there any other place where one could buy such licensed software or is it only online via delivery?
  11. Hi Guys First of all, may I thank all of you for a wonderful forum and all of your valuable input. I am new to this forum or any forum for that matter and I am not sure where to post my question or even how to retrieve any answers. I currently have installed 1 Mecer SOL-I-AX-5NB (I belief also called Axpert MKS II 5K), I have purchased a second unit for parallel installation. 2 x PylonTech US3000 and I have already bought 2 more. 9 x JK 380W 72 cell solar panels connected in series and yet to buy another 9. I am now fed up with my installer whom keeps giving me the run around and now no longer answer any of my calls. When he installed the system, I received the inverter pre-mounted on a wooden board with no instruction manual, no software CD and none of the included cables. This I only realized once I opened the second unit which I purchased and saw what should have been handed to me. In the last week or two I managed to get the communication cable from him for parallel installation but I still don't have the black and red load sharing cable and I can't see him ever producing it. Does anybody know where I could possibly purchase those connectors to make my own cable? Also I would like to inquire about some monitoring software as I just can't seem to get "Watchpower" working for longer than a few hours at a time on my computer and then it looses connection. My installer was also supposed to help me with that but that also seems not existent. On a lighter note, I have a beep going off when the sun goes down (Normal) and then 10 or 15 minutes later an alarm goes off with no caution or warning message and then again the same thing in the morning when the sun comes out, this I don't think is normal. Does anybody have any ideas? Many thanks and I look forward to any replies.
