Youda's off-grid LAB
Hi, I have 2 x US5000 batteries connected via serial cable with my computer. I can see both batteries parameters in console (using putty on COM port), so I must assume that serial cable is working. Manufacturer : Pylon Device name : US5000 Board version : V10R04 Board : NF4.E3 Main Soft version : B69.25.0.0 Soft version : V2.0 Boot version : V1.0 Comm version : V2.0 Release Date : 24-05-13 My problem is that when trying to read both batteries using BatteryView 3.0.37 software (United - 2 Units) I'm getting an error - see attached capture. If I connect only to master battery, I can see its parameters. Do you know what can be the cause for this? Maybe I need to use another BatteryView software version?

New software for Inverter/Pylontech monitoring and control
Hi, Do you think that is possible to adapt this software to work also with PYTES batteries? I know PYLON is 15S and PYTES is 16S, but by looking at serial console, menu and commands seems to be similar. I have attached captures from console from both PYTES and PYLON. Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWIN
Hi, Below you can find a short comparison between 60.95 and 860.96. On a good day looks like they have similar behavior. Will have to see what happens on a cloudy day. BR.

Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWIN
I have AGM, so I need bulk/absorption/float. I've tried different settings in 860.95 (SUB, SBU, UTI, charge current, float/bulk voltages), no way to make it go to float, even if charge current is 0. I will probably go back to 60.95.

Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWIN
I saw in previous messages that you have LFP, maybe that's why we have different behavior. You found a solution for this? What version are you currently using? Or found to be the best?

Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWIN
Hi, I have a MPP Solar PIP 6048MT (VM III Twin) 6KW inverter + 48V 220Ah AGM batteries, bulk voltage configured to 57.4V, float 54.4V, max charge current 30A, solar only charge. I have updated inverter firmware from 60.95 to 860.95 (float bug only fix) and observed that it doesn't go to float, even if battery charge current drops to 0A. As long as it has PV available battery voltage stays at 57.4V. I have attached 2 graphs, one from factory firmware 60.95, second one from 860.95. What can be the cause for that behavior? Is it something that I'm missing?

New software for Inverter/Pylontech monitoring and control
Hi, I have 4 independent inverters connected to the same PC via RS232, only one inverter has Pylontech batteries connected to it. Is it possible to select just this one for monitoring? I can't find an option to select which COM port to use for inverter. Thanks!

Voltronic Axpert VM III Twin 4Kw
Hi! Where can we find 60.89 firmware?

Voltronic Axpert VM III Twin 4Kw
I have updated my MPP Solar 6048MT (I believe it's Axpert VM III 6KVA) to 60.05 firmware. It seems that MPPT algorithm is a little bit better on cloudy days than my previous version 56.97, but still far from perfect. There is a new bug, it seems that I can't increase "L2 turn-off battery voltage " above 45.9V. It was working on previous firmware.] Maybe someone else can check?

Axpert inverter causing a home UPS to go crazy (help please)
Does anyone have some updates regarding 6048MT firmware? Maybe a newer version? Or at least some fixes?

Axpert inverter causing a home UPS to go crazy (help please)
You think is possible to change min PV voltage in 56.97 firmware?

Axpert inverter causing a home UPS to go crazy (help please)
Yes, you are right. Under low irradiance, PV voltage gets around 60V, inverter is not able to drawn any power out of 5.46kWp array. There are 2 string x 6 pannels, Voc=300Vdc. Regarding those firmware images, i believe that 56.97 is for VM III, while 60.90 is for VM IV model. I have tested both on my VM III model, almost same behavior.

Axpert inverter causing a home UPS to go crazy (help please)
Hi, I have same model, same problem when working only from PV. After changing some email with MPP Solar, they suggested the following: "likely PV interference as we also have some other customers with this issue and may be relating to PV wiring run. exact cause though is unknown at this time since we cannot reproduce this in our lab. Try installing >15uf /500v capacitor wires if you can on the PV terminals and this is a known fix. attached SOP for your reference." I also have some newer firmware versions, that fix some bugs related to unstable output power. Still there are lots of other open issues: MPPT issues on cloudy days Low MPPT performance compared to other inverters (Voc 500Vdc) Unacceptable charging battery from grid in case of Solar Only charging setting The moment there is some voltage in PV, PIP6048MT is starting to charge battery with 4A from grid, although I configured to charge only from Solar. AC Charging setting incorrect behavior It seems that in case of UTILITY AND SOLAR charging setting, AC charging behavior is wrong: 2A MAX AC setting – DC clamp measurement is 15A, watchpower PC software was reporting 13A 10A MAX AC setting - DC clamp measurement is 15A, watchpower PC software was reporting 13A 20A MAX AC setting – DC clamp measurement is 25A, watchpower PC software was reporting 23A Output source priority “Solar Utility Batt - SUB” incorrect behavior In case of battery full (floating stage), PV was showing around 280Vdc, PV input power = 0W. This means that Output active power was taken from grid, although it was on second priority. adding wire capacitor SOP.pdf VM III TWIN 6048MT main 60.90.rar VM III TWIN 6048MT main 56.97.7z
