  2. Hi All My installer is MIA and I wanted to connect my non essential loads to my system (which I paid for but clearly was not done). I have a voltronic 6,2kw OG inverter. Question1- would my inverter support the connection of non essential loads ( only my pool pump and heat pump ). Question2- any recommendation on whom could assist with this. Thanks in advance.
  3. Yes they are 550w panels
  4. So I finally had panels installed- to recap my system: 1x 6kw Axpert King 1x 5kw Narada Lithium 7x JA Solar panels Attached is what I’ve noted anecdotally- Now I don’t know if this is good, bad or average. Any thoughts?
  5. Tx Marcel It appears that I need the PN or QR Code to link the device. For whatever reason my QR Code sticker is missing. Back to the drawing board I think
  6. A few questions: 1) my inverter manual says that it has “built in Wi-Fi for mobile monitoring” As yet, I have been unable to set this up- any assistance or a particular procedure required for this? 2) what would be my go to option for a data logging solution- I have solar and want to be able to track my output? Tx
  7. Hi Annelie I need to find my old phone with their details and I’ll post it on here.
  8. Thank you Gents- I’m going to go with 6x on the North Roof. I’ll report back on how I go.
  9. This is what the installer said: In order to place 12 panels on your roof, some of them would need to face a different direction. Meaning they will produce different levels of power depending on the time of day. You will always have the situation where one set will cause the overall power to be reduced. This can be overcome by using an inverter with 2 MPPT inputs. Your inverter only has one input however. If we add more panels on the south facing roof but on the same mppt, the south facing panels will cause the total production to drop significantly during winter as they will take power from the north facing panels.
  10. Hi I am about to pull the trigger on installing panels. My current backup system is 6kw Voltronic Axpert and 5kw Narada. I have no heat generating appliances connected to the system, so my daily draw is rather minimal (no I have not measured this- its purely an anecdotal estimation) My options on the panels are as follows: 6x 550w Canadian, or 12x 445 Canadian The objectives: 1) in the event of a black out and the grid going down, having the means to be functional 2) as the panels will be in place- to derive some daily benefit by powering basic daylight loads and charging the battery for load shedding. Thanks in advance.
  11. Sorry Stef- wont be able to split

  14. Hi All I need to choose between these two inverters to match with a BlueNova 5.12kw Lithium battery. Axpert King 5K vs Growatt SPF 5000TL HV The intention over time is to include panels but for right now its only for backup for loadshedding. Tx in advance.
  15. Tx Bud, but my question refers rather to the HV or LV nature of the MPPT function on the inverter eg. 145v vs 450v Hope this makes sense.
  16. Hi Can someone explain the difference between these wrt inverters with the same capacity - as both 5kw 48v units of the same brand. I'm half dumb so a lay response would be great-lol Tx
  17. Thank you Sir
  18. Gents I have a Firefly FFD3.8 heat pump that needs a new LCD panel. Any idea who supports this brand? A quick Google search has yielded no assistance. Are LCD panels generic and interchangeable for similar spec heat pumps? Tx
  19. Hi Everyone I've spent a while going through previous topics etc and cant find a definitive answer to my need. This is my inverter and my AGMS are now dead. I want to replace them with Lithium's I just dont know which ones. I note the threads around Mecer, Vision etc and would prefer a solution that includes in built comms. Any help would be appreciated. FYI, Hubble recommended an AM- 4 with riot but I cant find anymore info. TxIMG_20210303_075712.pdf
  20. Hey Guys. My house has underfloor heating through out. There are 6 individual breakers at the DB. My issue is that despite all the circuit breakers being set to off and also, physically switching each room off on the controller on the wall- I still get hot spots. In warmer weather it is hard to notice, yet today with it being cold it is very noticeable. Any ideas how I can disconnect them permanently? Tx
  21. Hi Guys If anyone is close to wanting to sell their LiFePO4 cells or knows of any available please let me know. Looking to build my own bank but alas Baine has no stock at the moment. Tx
  22. Hi After less than 5 weeks with the system installed, I've decided to go 48v. I should have listened to all the advice of everyone on this forum- but alas that did not happen. For sale: 1x Skyking 3,2kw Inverter- balance of 1 year warranty 2x 200 Ah Gel Batteries- balance of 2 year warranty Will only sell as a set. Tx
  23. Sales quote- Conversion kit - 30TUBE - R.MATHEW.pdf Gents See attached for the quote I received for both my geysers. From all everyone has said - I don't have a question around efficacy but rather is the costing right? Tx
