I switch back to solar early in the morning at +_ 7:00 AM. I presume in winter will be a different case, I will cross that bridge when we get there. What software do you use on your mobile ? I'm afraid to connect to Growatt server. I can without any doubt tell you that the inverter cannot do the part in bold. It was one of the main reasons I bought mine. This inverter does not have the ability to feed into the grid. I even checked recently if I could make my meter spin backwards. If it did they would charge more for it. I did not mean feeding power to the grid, the inverter cannot do that, it's not a hybrid type. What I mean is that it tries to get power from Eskom to supplement, add to whatever my PV system is generating to charge the battery.

Then I believe the document you should be reading is the battery manual, mine clearly says that the bms will override any settings on the inverter to protect the battery.

Yes, I think that is the case, even though I have parameter 14 set at OSO = Solar energy will be the only charger source no matter utility is available or not. Looks like BMS overrides parameter 14 setting and try to charge battery from mains. I just have to run the system without BMS. Thanks for all the impute.
September 30, 20214 yr I recall you asking if you should wire the inverter input before or after the EL. Just curious- is it before or after the EL?
