idan
Please send me the latest firmware version for Infinisolar V II 5Kw (on the inverter is 52.20) Regardless of the settings, the inverter continues to charge on alternating current thank you very much
Vector_
Dude, did you find any software because I am also looking for this inverter
sethmad
did you find the software? I have same inverter with SW 52.20 and it does not "continuously charge" from AC IN.
Coulomb
I don't own one of these, but happen to have collected some firmware update files. Use at your own risk. It's not clear which of 52.29 and 52.31 is the latest/best. [ Edit: The following attachments are factory firmware; I never supply patched firmware in .rar form, any my patched firmware always has the word "patched" in the file name. ] 52.29, dated 23/Jun/2021: 52.31, dated 7/Jan/2023: SV II 5k SN 96132112101353 2934-07S2 FW Upgrade_2809_DSP INFINI V II 5KW TWIN 52.31.7z Edited October 12, 2023 by Coulomb sethmad
bubu_bubu
hi, it's the 52.29 that you modified starting from 200v to 250v, and it works fine, only that I would like to modify the voltages a little to see how it behaves better with the wind, if it's possible I would like to try one with voltages from 235v-300v and one 250v-300v, can you make these changes for me, and then I'll try both one and the other to see how the performance improves, thanks sethmad
bubu_bubu
This is the original Solarpower firmware InfiniSolarVII5K52.29P.rar
Coulomb
The one I posted above is original firmware; these update files should be identical.
bubu_bubu
Yes Coulombo, I will then change it with the voltages 235v to 300v one is a 250v to 300v, I would like to test how it goes better with the wind generator, the firmware that you changed for me 200v to 250 is fine when there is strong wind, if the the wind is not strong or since I have to raise the voltage to 235 or 250 to get more turns on the wind turbine, could you make these changes, thanks

It's 12345678 (8 digits, no spaces). That's how it was provided on the FTP site. Edit: I note that the loooong file name includes the word TWIN, but I don't see a 5 kW Twin model on the Voltronic site, and it doesn't look like it's a Twin model to me (though it's slightly different with the Infinis having some secure commands (commands start with up-arrow) and ordinary commands (which start with a capital letter)). It is a 5 kW firmware (the ^P...PIRI command returns 5000 VA and 5000 W). Edited October 16, 2023 by Coulomb biletskiy
sethmad
Hello @Coulomb, could you be more specific what is exactly this "premature float bug"? Is is linked to charging batteries? I use LifePO4 batteries and I have set both float and charge to same voltage, so I'm probably not affected by this bug. On which versions of the Infinisolar V2 is this present, how can i test? I have seen inverters with following SW versions: 52.20, 52.29, 56.60 Also another question: Would it be possible to limit the energy fed to grid? I have 2 Infinisolar V2 running in parallel and I want to limit the energy fed to grid to 2.5 or 3KW on each inverter. Otherwise my safety switches (I use 32A, 2P automatic fuse / MCB) and it gets hot on 7KW (60 degrees celsius)
