Sunsynk 5kw behavior change after firmware upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had thier FW upgraded to version:

HMI:VE.4.2.2

MAIN_1:V3.3.7.2
MAIN_2:V0.5.1.3

After this upgrade it seems like the inverter wants to use the grid sometimes even when the battery is charged, as an example if the house is drawing 3kw the grid might be supplying 500w or 900w, it seems to change but it definately supliments from the grid more now. Its annoying because if theres battery power I dont want it to use the grid at all until it reaches the specified % in the work mode settings to use grid, mines set at 15% at all times and these settings havnt changed, ive been through all of the settings and all of them are still the same as before.
If I turn the grid supply off the inverter uses all battery with no issues as well.
Thinking of asking the FW to be rolled back to a previous version

An example below, even though its only using 200w from the grid instead of all on battery:

And a little later:
