  2. Thanks guys, will keep nagging them and try Deye as well
  3. Will give it a go... I have tried before but also got nowhere
  4. As above I did mail them and got this response:
  5. And still going in circles....
  6. I need to know this info because im considering renting out my house and dont want tenants to be able to fiddle with settings
  7. Hey Guys, Is it possible to set a password on the inverter so that no changes can be made unless the password is input before hand? I checked the manual and its not very clear:
  8. Solarman, I have mailed them now to see what they say
  9. Response from Sunsynk:
  10. Do you just use the email contact form on the sunsynk website or is there a specific email address you must use?
  11. Thanks let me try this...again Ridiculous we cant just have this by default, its such a hassle to have to go to the inverter physically all the time \ when travelling not being able to manage the system
  12. Hey Guys, Please could you help with step by step instructions on how to get Sunsynk to allow me (an end user, not installer) to chnage the settings on my own inverter remotely. I have tried all the apps, smart, business, pro and none of them allow me to do this, I have emailed Deye \ Sunsynk and requested this access but no response, can anyone help with how to get this enabled? Thanks
  13. Needs to be requested each time
  14. I tried to get my firmware downgraded but no one would help me on this
  15. Yeah the no notice part as well as the inverter restarting are the standard that happens, would be nice if they could just email you a heads up before they begin maybe... Never received any comms from them about when an upgrade will be done or even after it's done
  16. 5kw inverter, 10kw battery and 14 x 455w panels
  17. Nothing noticeable on the interface and still have the issue where my power dips for a couple of minutes at night if on battery without grid with F56 error, was hoping it would be solved
  18. Hey guys, Just had my 5kw updated, looks like theres a new MCU version out, moved from 3.3.7.4 to 3.3.8.0 Old: New:
  19. I think ambient temperature is differant to what you are reading, ambient temperture over 45 starts degrading things I believe, I also had the below the other day:
  20. Also biggest month for me in 9 months. 14 x 455w panels
  21. Thanks I might try that on mine, it does have a comms cable so will see whats needed but might just let it drain down once and see if it helps
  22. Do you know if a fix for that? I think the manual settings I have entered for the battery are correct but did also expect the bms to handle this
  23. Thanks guys but im not able to check individual cells, I am assuming the BMS \ inverter comms will be handling all these settings as its a lithium battery, also not sure how many cells it has....im not much help! 😂
  24. Its on the list in the manual so should be fine. The inverter does match what the battery specs say as well, at a bit of a loss, I think a firmware update messed this up but not sure, there hasnt been a new firmware for a long time though
