I have a site with a 8-kW Deye inverter connected to two shotos and solar panels. Recently I have removed the batteries for BMS repairs and the system is running with solar plus grid only. Lord behold the substation feeding the client has burnt down and now the client is only left with solar panel. I know most pv inverters need a reliable source of supply (battery or grid) to run, but I thought hybrids can still run with solar only. Has anyone experienced the problem and what can be done to resolve it?
