You can however still choose between the 3 modes of charging in 16. I use solar charging only and prefer running in bypass if I see the battery getting low at bed time. I control bypass with a remote switch to switch AC input on or off. Normally when LS is during the night say after 22h I use bypass set to start after running on battery during the LS period. Start is 10min after estimated power on again.
January 24, 20233 yr I see what you mean I’m aiming to use my solar panels to run my lights and plugs as much as they can during the day and at night use the battery’s maybe to about 70% and then change over to utility automatically I’m just trying to figure out the correct settings for that application if you can give me the best settings to do this

Perhaps you can run the risk one evening when no LS planned to see at what voltage level the AGM default is to switch to grid. Also what voltage level setting 13 will kick in as well as 29 being the cut out. If power must stay on then you will look at charging from grid and solar.
January 25, 20233 yr https://thesunpays.co.za/manuals/Inverter Settings AGM-Gel Batteries.pdf I used this as my guide with the Axpert King 5kv inverter. charge voltage i set a bit higher at 57.6v for my agm batteries Edited January 25, 20233 yr by razzor13bt
January 24, 20251 yr Hi help is needed axpert 5kw system running 8 x12v batteries 4 in parallel and 4 in series. I need help with the settings What I would like from the system is solar running utilities and charging batteries during sunlight hours then when no pv it switches to my battery bank run that as long as possibly them line mode kick in (which will mostly be over night) charge the batteries to 100% full switch off and then batteries cut in and run the house. At the moment I have all this but the line mode kicks in over night and according to the app charges battery to 95% but doesn't switch to battery , it stays on line mode (according to app ) until sun comes up. Has anyone got some settings for this please Email is available

These are 2 different settings. You can set it to only charge from solar then it will not charge anything when battery is discharged but switch to grid. Also look at your setting for priority. Change that from utility to SBU.
January 24, 20251 yr Thanks mate but I'm still confused I really need detailed settings to enter I'm new to all this

Not feasible to list every one here and pointing out the meaning of the different options per each setting. Refer to a manual then I suggest to point to the settings you need more info on.
