MUK
Hi everyone, can anyone help me about the fans problem of infini 3Kw voltronic inverter. My inverter's fans are working all the time, even at 20 degree Celsius and it seems their sensors are not working or maybe NTC thermistor is causing this problem, I changed old fans with new ones but to no avail. Someone told me that restoring to default settings will fix this problem. I tried to restore to default settings using the software and it displays setting false. Please help! superdiy
It might be the firmware on your inverter. I can't remember where I've read about it, but someone, IIRC, in this forum complained about the same problem and loaded a different version of the firmware and it solved the issue. What is you firmware version? Mine are 3.10 and 0.31 respectively and my infini's fans are not running constantly.
Coulomb
The Axperts, also made by Voltronic, had this issue and it was fixed by a firmware update. @superdiy, maybe you're thinking of them, but maybe all their products from that period (2015?) had this issue. It may have been a desperation fix for some issue, and I'm blanking on what that was. Overcharging batteries comes to mind, but I can't see how the two are related. Edit: maybe it was overheating due to fan failures, that they fixed with coating some fan connectors. Still makes little sense. MUK
Thank you everyone for your quick replies and sorry that I was unable to comment earlier. I'm here in China with voltronic, will ask them about the issue and post the solution soon. @superdiy I also think it's firmware related and firmware version is probably 3.1 but I am not sure. Will check and update but it was made by voltronic under an OEM agreement and it is not a very fine quality product. @Coulomb You are right, it was manufactured in 2015. @Adnan Fan model number is AD0812XB-A73GL and it's made by ADDA.
