June 25, 20224 yr Hi all. I had posted about low pv output and thanks to lots of feedback about 2 of my panels being in a lousy position and dragging down my output. We moved the 2x 425w panels to the main roof which has the same pitch and North orientation as the main array and it made a huge difference.It was pumping out even at 3 pm. Thanks for all the help

As a side note, the previous post started out with high praise for the installer's workmanship, yet this was a sub-optimal installation in this one crucial aspect. Does it go without saying that the installer is now also more aware, and can give better advice to his future customers?

We both didnt think it would make such a difference as those 2 panels got a lot of sun so clearly the angle was the crucial factor. Nice to see it pumping out free electricity.

June 26, 20224 yr Author Well today from 10 am which is quite early for this time of the year,I started loading the system and in 1 hour ie by 11am I was up to 3.5kw of pv.If I had waited until midday then it would have been higher so a good result.

From 10 am this morning which is not peak time at this time of the year,I started loading the system with appliances and by 11am i was up to 3.5kw coming out of the panels.If I had waited until midday it would have been a bit higher so a great result.

Hi and thanks for the info.From 10 am this morning,I started to load the system and by 11am my panels were pumping out 3.5kw.If I had waited until midday it would have been higher.The installer has been great and worked out the glitches.
