April 18, 20179 yr Author There us no shading at all. They are fixed at building top. Temperature is 30 to 36C. I forgot to mention that panels are two years used. They are not new.Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

April 18, 20179 yr 1 hour ago, Don said: No, that is too low. Maybe he's measuring from the other side, so 16 would be equivalent to 74, which you could argue is about 9 degrees too much, but it is certainly within range :-) I usually measure from the other side, so with my panels at 35 degrees, that's actually 35 off the horizontal, so it would be 55 on the pictures you have there.
April 18, 20179 yr Yes, I also measure from the horizontal, not from the vertical. I checked a few sites and all their measurement are from the vertical. I assumed it must be a northern hemisphere thing.
April 18, 20179 yr @Anachem20, just to confirm, where did you measure the 16 degrees? Picture 1 or picture 2?

Morning Anachem20 If you live near Karachi then tilt should be 22° (figure 2 in Don's illustration) If you live near Jacobabad then the tilt should be 25° If you live near Lahore then the tilt should be 28° If you live near Islamabad the tilt should be 30° If you live elsewhere you can use http://www.solarpaneltilt.com/ to calculate your correct tilt. I agree with Don your tilt is not correct. That tilt would be good for someone living in Mumbai. Sorry I misread your posts are you adjusting your tilt every month? The above figures are for a fixed installation.
April 18, 20179 yr Author I measured from ground. Figure 2 in Chris image.Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
April 18, 20179 yr The four season tilt on http://www.solarpaneltilt.com/ recommends tilting your panels north by 1.3°. With this conflicting information I would consult more than just http://solarelectricityhandbook.com or http://www.solarpaneltilt.com/
