Then it is probably the effect I made that video about. When you have the power situation balanced like that with 2 amps going to batteries that are full or close to full, the MPPT operates just shy of the actual maximum power point (it has the voltage balanced somewhere above Vmp, but below Voc). Anything happens (load change, cloud before the sun) and it needs to pull back the voltage over the cliff, ie go hunting for the MPP. You can be fancy about it (as the blue controllers do), or you can just declare that you're lost and that it is best to start at the beginning. Which is what this controller does.

The Microcare controllers -- at least the one I used -- does the same. It also periodically restarts.

I have a full circle solar: fcs-5k-vp 5000W inverter. I measure 156V at my solar cable terminating into the inverter.

The screen shows 129V. It also doesn't give solar amps or watts.

How can I get my system to give solar amps, watts, carry load or charge batteries?
