Need referral for installers in Western Cape

Featured Replies

I am about to take the plunge.

I am looking at Deye / Sunsynk 8kw inverters.
2x Hubble 5.5kwh AM2 batteries.
And about 12x 600W panels.

From the research I have done and read several debates this seems to be the "best" setup for my needs.

If anyone could recommend an installer in the Western Cape / Southern Suburbs that would be amazing.

Kind Regards

Ended up going with a rental, I got the exact spec I originally wanted but with 14 panels vs 12.

Paying R2650pm

May I ask who you used for the installation? I am about to place an order for a quite similar spec system and am located in the same part of the city.

Apologies for the late reply, I went with gosolr.

Very painful experience, many delays, install not completed and was left with incomplete setup for weeks, and when there was an issue took 4 days for them to send someone out in response. (Had to follow up at least twice a day to get a response)

Install looks professional, everything now works after having to fight to get support.

So in my personal experience, great equipment but poor service.

Testing the waters maybe as our Durban trip was such a good success. Cape Town should be planned as well. Especially for High Voltage Commercial projects which are becoming our forte.

Makes one realise the high demand for quality work & we haven't even reached winter yet. Could be a long winter ahead of us...
