Deye non-essential settings

Featured Replies

I have a 5kW Deye inverter, with my geyser and oven on the non-essential side.

I have ticked "Zero Export To CT" and my understanding is that if there is then excess PV it will go to the non-essential side if required. Is this correct?

At the moment it looks like the oven is also using battery when we use it, is this the normal mode of operation? Ideally I would not want the non-essential side to use battery power.

Correct, if you select "Zero Export to CT," then excess PV will be fed to the non-essential load, assuming the CT coil is installed correctly.

If you don't want the non-essentials to be supported by the battery, go to the System Work Mode page 2 and un-tick the time-of-use settings. Otherwise ensure that on the time-of-use time settings page that minimum desired State-of-Charge is set to 100% in the time period where you re using the oven. Hope this makes sense.

Works as you explained, thank you.
