Nice catch! Indeed, that would explain it. If it reads the two values and logs them for the same mppt, and assuming it reads them a second apart (or so), then you're going to get a high and low value each and every time. I think you're on to something. The lines you drew supports that.

Icc reads the two inverters as a single mppt & plots the values as one. So the graph does not show the mppt "hunting"

So my question to the experts, do you think the system is currently producing what is should considering the 4 series panels (4*3)*2 instead of the suggested 3 series panels (3*4)*2 ?

In ICC you can see the two MPPT values live  in TCluster info Tab . You can use emonccms to plot both MPP volts and amps separately. No power calculations though. 

@manie  should really add the second MPPT in dashboard  and curve bor both  as 2 Axperts in parallel  are becoming common installations as people upgrade to larger banks
