October 31, 20223 yr Numbers can be deceiving. When comparing the two inverters below which would be the best install with 2 x 24V 50Ah LifePo4 batteries. Regardless of the figures the Synapse has a continuous fan whereas the ACDC is a lot bulkier? Any advice would be appreciated. Synapse 3.0V+ ACDC MKS-3K-24 Plus Inverter Mode Rated Power 3000VA/2400W 3000VA/3000W DC Input 24VDC/100A 24VDC/142A AC Output 230VAC, 50/60Hz, 13A, 1Ø 230VAC, 50/60Hz, 13A, 1Ø AC Charger Mode AC Input 230VC, 50/60Hz, 16.9A, 1Ø 230VC, 50/60Hz, 17.7A, 1Ø DC Output 27VDC, 15/25A 27VDC, 30/20A AC Output 230VAC, 50/60Hz, 13A, 1Ø 230VAC, 50/60Hz, 13A, 1Ø Solar Charger Mode Rated Amps 41,67A 60A Rated Power 1000W 1440W System Voltage 24VDC 24VDC Operating Voltage Range 30-80Vdc 30-115Vdc Max. Solar Voltage (VOC) 102VDC 145VDC I will most times go for the higher Voc for solar panels. It just makes it easier with thinner cables. Depending on panels one can use up to 3 in series per string instead of being limited to 2 on the Voc=102V version. My choice thus the ACDC Plus version. I would just go for 100Ah batteries instead of the 50Ah Edited October 31, 20223 yr by Scorp007

The only reason I went with two 24v 50Ah lithium batteries instead of two 12v 100Ah batteries was that I could easily join them in parallel for total 100Ah storage and also that I could periodically add a single 50Ah battery as they are 24v each. Good for you. Yes good reason to go with the 24V 50Ah as mentioned. Edited November 1, 20223 yr by Scorp007
