DenBeech reacted to razzor13bt in Best Wire Stripper & Crimper DIYI purchased a crimper from Mantech and then found out they had the inserts loose.
bought 2 most common inserts for my use.
a few weeks back seen Addendorf had a crimper that comes with 5 sets of inserts for R500.
less than half what i paid at Mantech.

DenBeech reacted to zsde in Best Wire Stripper & Crimper DIYYou don't perhaps have a link or know what the brand was? Just checked their site and couldn't find it.

DenBeech reacted to GerhardK83 in Best Wire Stripper & Crimper DIYThere are 2 sets where the crimp dies can be changed, the first one is in a bag and the second one in a plastic case, I do not know if the dies are different between the two sets. The third link is a solar set with a crimping plier and wire stripper which works great for solar cable.

The first link is similar to the one that TaliaB posted, the second one is also self adjusting but works a bit better than the first one with some cables.

Have a look at their website for the closest branch, make a note of the item code, phone the branch and ask they must do a physical stock check and if stock is low ask them to keep one aside.

DenBeech got a reaction from ABDurbs in Fivestar InverterMorning thanks for the feedback. Do you possibly have the L x W x H dimensions of the inverter itself please. I can't seem to google the user manual or dimensions anywhere. TIA

DenBeech reacted to Scorp007 in ACDC 3kva vs Synapse 3.0V+I will most times go for the higher Voc for solar panels. It just makes it easier with thinner cables. Depending on panels one can use up to 3 in series per string instead of being limited to 2 on the Voc=102V version.
My choice thus the ACDC Plus version. I would just go for 100Ah batteries instead of the 50Ah

DenBeech reacted to EnTAnGleD in CFE-1280S Lithium Batteries in PF StorePurchased two of these for a friend to put into their battery trolley connected to a Mecer Inverter.
Working like a bomb (drop in replacement for LA). Obviously cannot speak to the amount of cycles.
