August 20, 20224 yr I am considering two CFE-1280S lithium batteries set up in series for my 24v 3KVA ACDC hybrid inverter. They are on offer in the PF store at a reasonable price of approx R11,500 for two. As a pensioner I need to get the most bang for my buck and cannot afford mistakes when it gets to reliability and number of cycles. Are the CFE batteries therefore a good buy or is there a better alternative in that sort of price range? There is not much about them on Google or YouTube! I asked a similar question about the Fivestar 3.75KVA battery on FB yesterday, but am not the confident about their overall value for money after the excellent response and comments on there. (Further comments about this one would also help me). Any advice sincerely appreciated. TIA. Edited August 20, 20224 yr by DenBeech Wording
August 25, 20224 yr Purchased two of these for a friend to put into their battery trolley connected to a Mecer Inverter. Working like a bomb (drop in replacement for LA). Obviously cannot speak to the amount of cycles.
February 20, 20242 yr I have a CFE 1280S Pro 100AH 12v lithium battery I wanted to use it as replacement battery for my Mecer 1KVA inverter trolley (which had lead acid battery) but it wasn't compatible (voltage changes caused the battery to shutdown and had to turn it on again manually and the inverter trolley doesn't have any options to set the voltage). People I got it from said it would most likely work but it hasn't and I cannot return it At present the battery is just sitting there, unused I would like to know if there is an affordable inverter that could work with this battery. I don't really want to spend too much more on this as spent a bit on the battery to start with Any advise would be appreciated

August 5, 20242 yr The instructions on the battery are for parallel and series connections does it mean that I can not use a single CFE-1280S Pro. If yes how how doI set the digit of the dial

If yes how how doI set the digit of the dial You can use it as a 12V as each battery is 12V. Don't know about the dial digit.
