December 1, 20223 yr Today I was delighted to get a semi informal tour of the FreedomWon Factory in Honeydew Johannesburg. I did not get to see the entire factory & assembly line, however, the little I did see gives me an incredible amount of confidence in these guys. To say that their operation is large would be an understatement. I got a tour of the High Voltage battery assembly line. I have heard many a person say that they will not support local solar manufacturers because will they be around in 10 yrs to honour any warranties etc. After my visit today & the shambles our national energy supplier finds itself in, it gives me as a humble small part I play in the Solar revolution in SA a lot of confidence. These guys are on a different level !!! The size of their operation is in the region of 2 football fields in terms of production & warehousing. They gave me a tour of their High voltage Container Minigrids undergoing assembly. Maybe we will be seeing a lot more of these guys in the future. I felt like a kid in a toy store 😂😂😂
