Posted December 20, 20222 yr Hi I boight a Luxpower inverter for my parents. Have had issues from the start (topic for another post), but have been struggling for weeks now to get Solar Advice (where I purchased the unit - again, their lack of service is a topic for another post but safe to say BEWARE) to “unbind” the wi-fi dongle so that my installer can access it. Can anyone help with someone else I can contact. It’s really ridiculous that I paid money for this unit but yet I am being held hostage by Solar Advice Edited December 20, 20222 yr by CSolar

See Look for its SSID on your wifi net. Connect to it (and pick the option to stay connected) You can then connect to it's management interface (in my case http://10.10.10.1) See screen shot. Connect using admin admin (This is default, if this does not work or the password has been changed, go the step 8) change language to English, if that helps 😉 On the Left select "Module Management" On the right, second last option "Restore Factory Setting" Use a hammer on it repeatedly I hope this helps.
August 21, 20231 yr So a thread revival as I feel it is very important. Regarding the Luxpower WiFi dongle factory reset, if you do the factory reset you will NEED to log back into that dongle and update some settings. I just did it and learnt the hard way and was lucky enough to stumble upon the attached PDF which explains what to do after the factory reset - which settings to change so that it will connect.
