Infinisolar Inverter and US3000C batteries slow BMS communication

Featured Replies

Good Day

I have an RCT (branded) Infinisolar V4 5.6K - 48V inverter connected to 3x US3000C batteries. connected with the correct cross cable and baud rate setting

Previously the BMS communication failed error 61 on the inverter, after updating the firmware of all batteries to the same version 2.1 this error was cleared.

The problem is that the inverter Input & Output values on the inverters display is very slow to update.

Hey Stan, welcome to the forum!

Yeah that sounds a little annoying, sorry to hear it, but communication taking it's time to update doesn't sound too far outside of the expected. I have seen units take like a minute to update the app, the information on the inverter should be a lot faster than that.. When you say slow to update, what are you considering slow?

Hi Psy

So I've got 2 Infinisolar inverters, one running with Dyness Batteries the other with Pylontech.

The information on the Dyness inverter updates almost instantly.

The inverter connected to the Pylontech however is slow takes about a minute to update, even when starting up the inverter input and output values take about a minute to show.

I have swapped around the inverters and the values are still laggy

Ok, so there is a chance this is an odd software thing... but you would need someone a little more adept with the software, like @Coulomb, to confirm since I am a little more of a hardware person. However, that does sound a little long considering there's a cable connecting the two. I see you already flashed with firmware 2.1, it may be worth asking the people you purchased it from to ask the supplier about it? When I run into this kind of stuff I usually ask Voltronic to review and either advise or provide me with a firmware patch...

Hi @Psy

Do you perhaps have a support email address or any contact at Voltronic I that I could reach out to? I have looked online only found sales email I have sent them a mail although im not sure if they will respond.
