February 4, 20233 yr I have a Kodak OGX 5.48a Inverter, 5 Pylon 2.4kWH Batteries and 9 250-270W Solar Panels. I would like to monitor the system using the MultiSIBControl application. Initially I will connect to a laptop [LT] followed a Rasbery-Pi [RPi]. The communication of the inverter to batteries are by means of a RJ45 cable linking the Inverter. The communication Inverter to the LT / RPi is by means of a USB cable. Do I still need to connect the batteries to the LT/RPi with a RS232 or RJ45 cable? [I preferer the RJ45].

February 4, 20233 yr Author Thanks. Am new to this monitoring system. May I ask. How you find the system or your setup? How's your setup compiled. Thanks.

Until yesterday evening I was running a backup inverter, which uses MultiSIBControl, so ran a Win7 VM on a x64 machine running linux as the base O/S, today back on the Sunsynk 5kW, which is spoken to from Home Assistant, which at the moment runs as a linux VM on RPi 4, which again has debian as the base O/S... I need to do a lot more work on getting this set up that it is *really* useful, but hey, Rome wasn't built in a day...
July 14, 20232 yr hi @Aubrey48 hast du einen Weg gefunden, die Daten von Multisibcontrol auf den Raspberry zu bekommen?
