Freedom Won E-tower batteries and SUnsynk inverter

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm running 2 x Freedom Won E-tower batteries on a SunSynk 5Kw inverter and am a little confused by some of the numbers I'm seeing.  I have them correctly stacked and connected to the inverter via Canbus and the LiBMS shows really high charge and discharge values, which don't seem right.  Both are showing as 210A. on the LiBs page.  System is working well though.

I'm also looking to understand the values I should input on the Battery Setup / Batt Type screen for Charge Amps and Discharge Amps.  Should I be inputting 126 and 160 as per the Freedom Won manual for 2 batteries?  Pics attached.

Appreciate your guidance.

Thanks

It looks like they underrate the specs in the spec sheet  as the BMS there is allowing 105A charge and discharge per battery . That is really awesome and good to know . As far as your settings go they seem very good and you dont have to change anything. Your inverter is not able to max out those batteries so you have nothing to worry about. If anything i would set the charge to 100A and discharge to 120A.
