April 14, 20233 yr Hi folks Got a house recently and looking to add solar for powering our life including cooking. Currently remodeling our kitchen and plan to install an AEG induction hob. Planned to install sunsynk 8kw inverter for our solar but some of the installers claim it can’t handle an induction hob. The one we are looking at has a max power of 7kw but typical usage of 2.4kw. They are recommending to use Victron instead. do folks have experience with sunsynk and induction hobs ? Would there be any issues here to go with sunsynk?

Would there be any issues here to go with sunsynk? Someone is trying to get a triple bond repayment with one install. Why can't the Synsynk handle the normal 2.4kw load. Nobody should even try to put 4 plates on full power on a induction plate. We use about 1kw setting and lower for most cooking. As some installers add on over 33% mark up on equipment one can see what reasons they use to get the price as high as possible. Nothing against Victron. Just better value around. April 14, 20233 yr I have a 8kw Deye running for more than 3 years now always used my induction hob without any problems why should there be and to top it off induction hob 33% energy saving compared to conventional plate stove top.
