  1. I have 2 x Bluenova BN13V-8-104WH batteries installed in Nov 2021. They have been running without issues. They operate 2 x double swing gates. Centurion Vector motors. 2 motors per battery. The one battery also supplies power to 4 x G-Speak intercom systems at the one gate. I have not found them dead once. Even with prolonged power outages. Just drop in replacement. Did not change any other hardware.
  2. Been there done that. Still can't believe they send them to CPT. Imagine what they are paying on shipping all those batteries to CPT. They had to ship mine to CPT as well. The reason was no welder in JHB. I also bought 2. Father bought 2. Uncle bought 6. All on my recommendation. I think between our 10 batteries we had 3 with cell failures. I also bought the expensive cable. Used PBMTools to check what was going on with them. Did I mention I bought the Riot Cloudlink as well? After Hubble troubleshooted with the cloudlink they said faulty cell I must take it in. Got to Hubble in JHB and the oke plugged in the battery and opened up PBMSTools to show me the faulty cell. While I was troubleshooting with them I mentioned I can see a problem via PBMSTools and they tuned me I may not use PBMSTools it would void my warranty. LMFAO. Since then I had another issue and they recommended I update the FW. They sent me the FW and I did as instructed. All seems fine now. Batteries are currently on 390 and 420 cycles. I am stuck with them. I think I need another one to complete my system. Grudge purchase that will be. Bought them in December 2021.
  3. Mine was done at the same time. 600w panels would have been nice but you would have paid through your arse for them at the time. I have 420w. Nice stats.

  7. Average Temps for May 2023: Average Temps for June 2023: Edit: I installed the fan mod during May 2023.
  8. This is mine. Just took a piece of alu flat bar and bent the one end 90 degrees and bolted the other end at the fan side to the 3d printed fad mod. So it just hooks over the inverter. B Both temps dropped by between 10-15 degrees. My ambient temp in the garage never goes above 15 degrees.
  9. I just use an extendable window washer tool with water. Thats it. My guy goes up on the roof once a month to clean them.
  10. I had an Efergy unit installed in my DB for 2 years before I got my solar system installed. That data is worth gold. When the time came for solar the decision was easy. Could see exactly what my peaks were, and when. And also how much electricity I consumed per day, week, month, year, etc. Winter and Summer etc. If an installer wants to impress me he must suggest to me that we install a device like the Efergy for at least a month to get some hard data. If you can get such a device, get one and install it asap. The sooner the better. All of that data can then be exported to Excel or google sheets and you can play around with it and make it more user-friendly to tell you exactly what is going on. Priceless. Just going on how many units you use per month is pointless. I mean those units can be mostly used at night for instance and you don't know. You cannot make an informed decision based just on that.

  12. Fsckers, they use PBMTools themselves. When I had a faulty cell with SOC issues I told them the one battery shows lower SOC in PBMSTools. They tuned me to please refrain from using it. When I took my battery in to Hubble JHB they used PBMSTools right in front of me and showed me the faulty cell.
  13. Care to share? Also looking.
  14. My total consumption for 2022 was 7800kWh. My total PV production for 2022 was 5800kWh. I spent on average R580 pm on prepaid electricity. So R7000 prepaid electricity for 2022. My settings are not ideal but still, a saving is present.
  15. My Father has an 8kw Sunsynk with some moer fancy induction hob. No issues.
  16. Great post thank you. If one is still of another opinion after your post then IDFK.
  17. Ja no look. AFAIK it is not mentioned on the page where one requests the FW upgrade. 100% off this on the guys at Sunsynk. Now he has to deal with the unknown time frame for repairs. That was not his fault. Not sure where you're coming from with your stance on this.🤔 And anyway it does not matter if there was a load or not. They flashed the wrong FW. They can get fscked.
