April 15, 20233 yr Hi all using solar assistant to monitor settings, when on solar first - uses more grid than pv eg for load of 137w uses grid 273w and pv only 17w - if I switch this this to solar battery utility then this works as expected - 157w load pv 149w grid uses 0 I would leave this on SBU but when solar stops say 5pm the batteries are low and then I’m afraid I’ll delete the batteries to 0 does not look like it even uses the utility in this mode Is there a setting somewhere ? thanx in advance
April 19, 20233 yr Same inverter as you,,Mine does the same,,when I increase the loads past 250w then everything works as it should
April 19, 20233 yr Switch to SBU setting. Change the power graph so that your batt stay at 90% for 2 different times. you will need to decide when you want the battery full. Something like this
April 19, 20233 yr Author Hi i don’t have a bms so it looks greyed out to me but this is exactly what I want to do one of the users replied about an emulated bms is that what u have done
April 19, 20233 yr Ok. Go to the config tap Change the following settings. Back to battery voltage and back to grid voltage. If I am not mistaken this will unfortunately engage grid to charge you batteries during the day as well.
April 20, 20233 yr Author Hi Jacques good news the emulated bms option works thank u, how do I change the settings to solar to utility as per yours above posted a pic of what I see
April 20, 20233 yr Go to config page. Select inverter settings Edit batt Click on Charge source priority and select solar and utility save
