March 24, 20187 yr Hi Gabriel At $20 it probably worth it it you have a man Friday. It probably not worth getting someone in especially to do the job.
March 24, 20187 yr It really depends on how dirty they are, how easy it is to reach. I clean mine about once a year, maybe twice. Winter rain (when we have it, which has been rare recently) usually takes care of it in the winter months.

March 25, 20187 yr That test doesn't reveal the full story. If your panels are flat mounted, or at a rather low angle and you get little rain, or any other means to clean the, they will gather dust and production will drop. Many industrial roof-top installations are totally flat, sometimes with a slight curvature on the roof. I had a post sometime last year, where a client lost about 40% PV production during winter. Got onto the roof with a hosepipe, hosed the panels off and they had full production again.
