Energy-Jason
Hi All. Hope Great Is the DIN VDE 0126-1-1 still the certification to have to conform to the GRID Tie standards of SA? sincerely Jay

For South Africa you must comply with NRS097-2-1 which is our own local one which (far as I know) was updated recently to resemble 4105 more. So if something complies with the new German one it should also comply with the South African one although it has to be independently tested and certified. Is there an updated compatible inverter list?

There is a mention somewhere in the NRS documentation, as far as I recall, that the latest update was done to bring it in line with VDE AR N 4105. But I may be wrong. Energy-Jason
HEH! Hows it look! Is this good enough for my Inverter to comply? Take a look. Jay

It has to be specifically tested for NRS097-2-1. Compliance with the old German standard doesn't automatically mean it complies with the amended South African requirements. I may be wrong about this, but I do have it on good authority that the Victron Multigrid had to be independently tested for Germany, South Africa and Australia. Energy-Jason
Thank you very much. I know there are a few labs that do this. Back in the Day I wanted to get the Solis/Ginlong Certified. Circa 2013. I recall it was very pricey. Jay
