Based on what I have seen when PV sellers cut battery cable I have only seen welding cable cut and easy to spot. Further not many battery systems are over 100V to earth AC or DC as per the SANS 1576 spec. Welding cable can also go to 85 deg instead of the normal 70 deg rating. Enough of hijacking the topic.
