Axpert 5kv -48-PAR-A DC to DC converter voltage high ?

The Axpert 5KV-48- PAR-A   I'm busy with ATM is producing up to 430v on the DC bus , this is too high surely(normally around 380-395v),  can this be a problem in the feed back voltage sense circuit in SMPS, any thoughts please

No, but it could be a bad (reading low) measurement of the DC bus voltage. Or the bus soft start power supply not turning off.

What bus voltage does a QPIGS command return?

Edit: Actually, thinking about this, unless you have solar connected and it's a high PV voltage model, in battery mode the DC bus should always be 8x or 7x (depending on the model) the battery voltage. Unless that bus soft start power supply is still running.

Hi Coulomb, i was wondering, on the AC conversion side there are optos AT350 which are high voltage rated, can lower rated Optos be used as it seems the the optos are only switching -5v and 15v to the gates of IGBTs..

No. Though they only switch -5 and +15 V, they isolate hundreds of volts. These are also gate drivers, not just a photodiode and phototransistor.

Hi this screenshot is part ofCoulomb sharing BritishRacingGreenpost on starting up PWM ic without battery side FETS present, can the same be done for the tracing/testing of sine wave pulses for IGBTs on the bus voltage(450v) . The IGBTs are removed But the battery side FETs are present. the battery side pulses are fine BTW..
