Smart Controller for Alliance Hot-water HeatPump

Featured Replies

Hi All

Has anyone managed to integrate their heatpump into HA?

i have an alliance hotwater HP, that has a basic controller with only 3 timer settings. I need a controller that is able to connect and integrate into smart home, to manage it better.

I called Alliance but they dont make a smart version of this controller for hot water heatpumps.

So just checking if anyone has managed to or knows how to get around this...

regards

My heatpump runs on a sonoff pow... it detects the power usage, once the heatpump stops heating (consume 0W) it still runs for 3 minutes and then cuts the power.

When I restore the power it starts up to heat the water till the above situation is reached.

ITS heatpump 4.7kW

Switch flashed with Tasmota, it is rock sold, has never missed a heating request.

I heat my water on

1. a home assistant schedule

2. When the battery reaches 100% and it is still before a certain time and water is below a certain threshold

3. When someone switches it on via the button on my hot water desktop (on demand)
