August 25, 20233 yr Just wanted to know if this is normal? Or if I should be worried. I have a multiplus 2 installed with a 5.12kwh BSLbatt battery in a ups setup. Everything seems to work fine but every few days the I get a low battery warning from the multiplus. No errors from the battery though. The installer says it is a firmware issue and that we shouldn't worry about it. Can it be something else? Has anyone else seen this? Thanks in advance.

The Multi only reports what the battery bms tells it, BSL's run lower than other manufacturers at 3.4V per cell, and the BMS reports the SOC so at 54.5V you are 100% charged. Is the firmware issue on the Multi or on BSL Bms. Ask your installer to investigate you need to get it sorted as the Multi is reporting low battery for a reason. Other than that it won't hurt to ensure all battery connections are tightened down. Edited August 26, 20233 yr by TaliaB
