September 2, 20233 yr Hi Does anyone know at what voltage should my inverter cutoff? i have mecer 1200VA with a 105ah LA battery. Currently it cuts out at 12.24 volts. According to the manual it should cutout at 11.8v if i am correct. do you think there could be something wrong with the inverter? Any advise would be highly appreciated

Make sure it is not below 12v before inverter cuts out. Edited September 2, 20233 yr by TaliaB
September 3, 20233 yr Author Yes - Voltage rises after rises after switch off, but still think inverter switches off to soon? I had the Multimeter connected again this morning and it switches off at 12.36V. Does that seem Normal?

What type of lead acid do you have flooded which you can top up or SLA sealed as they have diffrent soc characteristics if you have SLA as i suspect your inverter is switching off at 55% soc the battery will last longer maybe the thinking behind it of the manufacturer.

Did you measure the voltage on the point of entry to the inverter or is it one of those models where the cable is fixed and terminated inside the inverter?
