September 5, 20232 yr The PV plant represented in the images below is composed by 2 arrays of 8 (405 Wp) panels, a Viessmann Hybrid Inverter B-1 (6 kW) and a BYD battery pack (10,24 kWh). Since the plant was installed, I noticed that the arrays production (blue line) is cut if no load is required. Just a small amount of energy is given to the grid, which means an economic loss for the owner. I compared the official energy exported to the grid data with the ones i read on the goodwe portal and they are very similar. So, where does this energy go? Is there a way to maximize the energy exportation?

Is there a way to maximize the energy exportation? If there is no load / export to grid then there is nowhere for this potential energy to go. So the panels just don't produce it. You can maximise through a combination of: Increased loads during the day (geyser / washing machine / dryer / aircon) [load shifting] Exporting to the grid (provided this is allowed in your area) Getting an additional battery to store the extra energy (not cost efficient) If your inverter supports it you could also power some non-essential devices, stoves / ovens / geysers once the batteries are full mine as an example showing the same ^ A better spread of load and production ^^ Edited September 5, 20232 yr by mzezman added some charts
September 5, 20232 yr In the images above it does NOT look like there is any grid exporting being done, as though the inverter is in a zero-export or export limitation mode of some type, or just supplying the essential loads and charging the battery. Double-check in the settings that you are selecting some form of solar export mode if this is what you intend doing, if you are permitted to send power into the national grid. If that doesn't work, check whether your energy meter or CT coil is installed correctly.
September 5, 20232 yr From your graphs your loads never go above 3kw. How is your system wired? The Goodwe will assist loads from your non-essential loads of the geyser and oven/heating sources (I am assuming you have traditional ones) From a settings point of view, are you in General Mode?

The system is set to work in general mode, so the excess energy should be given to the grid.
