October 23, 20232 yr Hi All! I need some assistants please - I have gone through the whole forum and have not really found the answer I'm looking for. I am brand new at doing something like this and have been following Solar Integrations as much as possible. My problem seems to be that once I have connected the ESP32 to the inverter after loading the required software and all that, I can't see it on the Home assistant Dash. I made sure to follow the wiring diagram perfectly and still cant get anything to show. I then tried to load it onto the dashboard manually but still nothing. Please help!

October 24, 20232 yr Author Hi @Kalahari Meerkat From the video on Solar integrations, I gathered that we needed to plug the ESP32 into my PC and then loaded the software through the ESP32 dashboard on home assistant and then connect it to the WiFi. Once this was done I then plugged it into my Inverter.
October 24, 20232 yr Don't know about the solar integration video, so you may have to try and contact the originator of this, however once programmed via ESPHome on your Home assistant machine, going to ESPHome, you should see the ESP32 or whatever device, showing up there with whatever name you gave it... in my case I have the ESP8266MOD as the device I programmed... then under Integrations, ESPHome should show up with at least the 1 Device you added... clicking on the (in my case) 3 DEVICES should get you to the list... and then selecting the relevant device, in my case the ESP8266MOD, should show you what it has available sensor wise... if this is similar on your end, obviously not the BME280 etc. sensors not whatever it is you programmed into your ESP32, then the question would be what exactly is the problem?
