October 23, 20232 yr I am trying to assist my neighbor with an apparent incorrect Error 58. The fault indication come on when the batteries linked to the inverter are fully loaded. Any advice please.
October 23, 20232 yr Trust you can provide a bit more detail in terms of the tech specs of both the Inverter and connected batteries. It will take the guesswork out of the equation.
October 23, 20232 yr Error#58 on Axpert inverter is " heavy load" not sure on Fivestar but scroll up with up arrow button until you get to load% P2 and check what the % load is. 2 hours ago, Pieter van Vuuren said: batteries linked to the inverter are fully loaded. Not sure what you mean with above statement, what is the battery chemistry, batt capacity, batt voltage, inverter capacity, solar input kwp, solar input voltage? We need more much more info as @zsde mentioned above. Edited October 23, 20232 yr by TaliaB
October 24, 20232 yr Possibly depending on the model, fault code 58 means "output voltage too low". But Fivestars might or might not be clones, and if this one is a clone, it might or might not have copied Voltronic firmware exactly. So we'd need to know what the user manual says for fault code ("error") 58.
October 24, 20232 yr Attached sort of manual for Fivestar inverters fault code 58 not mentioned in this specific manual. Fivestar Manual - another type - same setttings.pdf
