November 13, 20232 yr Two Luxpower inverters in parallel. Initially one showed error 29 ( EPS voltage to high ). Shut down and restarted the system. Error then changed to the second inverter while the inverter with the initial error returned to normal. Any ideas ?

I have exactly the same problem and the supplier suffers to get it sorted out! What is more annoying is that now, after a year, one fan of the first Luxpower I bought packed up. Exactly the same thing happened with the units of two of my neighbours. When one was sent in for repairs (under warranty) the supplier indicates that it was due to moisture ingress. This unit, like mine, was installed indoors in a garage. The third one in a kitchen. We are in Glentana. It now boils out that the SNA's are not suitable for being installed at the coast. But nowhere, absolutely nowhere, can this information be found in the installation manuals or on websites! What must be done?
November 21, 20232 yr Author Yes. Two SNA 5000’s. Was also told that moisture was the problem. When the problem started both units were sent to Luxpower and they solved the problem. However only worked for a month before returning. Spoke to an electrical engineer about the moisture problem and he thinks the unit should be hot enough to drive out moisture.
November 21, 20232 yr Author The two Luxpower SNA 5000’s sent back to Luxpower. Returned 3 days later with one unit replaced by a refurbished unit. Worked for a week before the refurbished packed up. Both units being sent back for the third time. The inverters were installed during October last year so only 13 months old.

I think more of a problem than humidity is the salt contained in the air. That's very aggressive. I live only 1 km from the coast at 160 m altitude. The humidity is most of the time relatively low, 48% yesterday. But everything that's not protected corrodes. My 2 Axpert MKS 5K run now for more than 3 years in a shack under need the balcony. So far no problems. I also think that the heat inside the units prevents any condensation.
