February 13, 20242 yr Good day ladies and Gents please help, I am going on holiday and will be overseas for at least a year, how do i make sure my system specifically the Lithium Batteries will survive, I am planning to disconnect everything and leave it like that, thanks in advance for feedback
February 13, 20242 yr Did your batteries come with a user manual? Usually they state the self discharge rate in the specs. Typically the best storage voltage for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePo4) cells is between 3.2-3.4V per cell. Multiply for your battery size, usually 15 cells or 16 cells. again, refer to your user manual. This could be different for your battery if it uses a different chemistry.
