February 15, 20242 yr Hi everyone, I have two parallel Axpert Max E 11 kw inverters. And one of them gave F90 fault e few days ago. As i understand the posts of this forum it is related with firmware or clone boards.I bought exclusive distributor of axpert and they sent old firmware to update by R232. But whenever we try to update reflash tool screen says “ cannot open serial port” . There is no any port used by pc and no watch power installed bu my pc I would like to have your advise for which firmware i should use and any solution for my updating problem. What i do wrong? thanks nazim

This is what happens when clone manufacturers steal genuine Voltronic firmware, and they don't copy the environment perfectly; fault code 90 turns up after 60 days of run-time. Unfortunately, updating the firmware won't fix the problem. 3 hours ago, ChemistTR said: But whenever we try to update reflash tool screen says “ cannot open serial port” . If one of your inverters (the one with the serial number 5535553555...) is a clone, you will need your clone supplier to provide their own, or at least a patched firmware. But some clones are so basic that they can't be updated at all. In that case, there is nothing much that can be done. Perhaps reverting to all default settings via command or monitoring software, then re-doing your settings, will give you another 60 days, then you have to do it all again. If your machines are all genuine, and the sticker in the photo looks genuine to me, then that inverter has lost some EEPROM values. But I note that the serial number under the barcode matches the middle inverter on your monitoring software. To restore them and clear fault code 90, you need a setserial program from your non-clone supplier. Each setserial program is unique to a particular serial number, and is cryptographically hard to generate unless you are Voltronic. You can't talk directly to Voltronic, you have to talk via your supplier, who will verify your ownership, and will consult with Voltronic on your behalf. Perhaps post the sticker for the first inverter, the one that is showing serial number 5535553... I can usually tell if it's a clone or not.

I reached the main distributor and discussed the same. Unfo, main distributor and its dealer that i bought the inverter have no enough info, they just share firmware by checking the seller in China. anyway, i am sharing the label that has 553553…serial no. And i also wanted the firmware rar files that they sent to me to update but it is bigger than 3mb so icouldnot attach it. I couldnot start update most probably because of the cable that i use as usb to r232. That is a bit older version and i needed to install 2008 driver. İ installed and accepted by com port but may be it isnot enough to start update. I will buy new one and try by the way, if i would install their file, the firmware version will be 57.07/12.28 as they said all the best
February 16, 20242 yr I can confirm that the fault code 90 function is still present in the firmware, but it is no longer called. It is still called in 57.05 and 57.60. I wonder if this is an official firmware? But I have seen a few others without fault code 90 being active, so maybe Voltronic have finally stopped trying to fight the clone makers. The label above looks legitimate to me. I wonder why that inverter lost its serial number. [ Edit: Oops, I've just realised that it's the same photo as before, with the same serial number. ] The below is factory firmware version 57.07 for the Axpert Max E 11 kW non-twin for the '2809 chipset. Do not attempt to use it with any other model, and use at your own risk. MAXE11K_CNTL_DSP_5707.rar Edited February 16, 20242 yr by Coulomb
February 26, 20242 yr Author Dear Coulomb İ updated with 5707 and F90 disappeared.we will see it would be appear again after 60 days your replies and advises were very helpful. I reached the guy at Voltronic through their distributor and he was angry about my arguments :))) he insisted 57.67 is latest version but when i uodated with it, inverter gave F16 error :))) anyway thanks again for your support. It was very appreciated

I succeeded in creating my own "setserial" program, so I can change the serial of all of my infinis just like I want.Maybe this would work for axperts as well.Btw: I was not able to change the serial of my (extremely bad built) MAX II 8K clone. Guess the crappy copied fw does not allow this at all.
