March 25, 20242 yr Hi, a I am curious to see it these 2 inverters the same as I see a big price difference between them: The Mecer Sol-i-ax-11m 11kw And the Axpert Max -E-11000 11kw Is either one worth buying?

I would not expect the twin to be more than say US$50 more expensive (R950?) than the non-twin equivalent, but that's a wild guess.
March 26, 20242 yr Author Hi Coulomb, thank you for the info, what is the advantages to having the twin inverter, what can it do that the other cant? The twin is about us$ 450 more expensive here.

It seems that you can program the second output to drop off if certain conditions are met, e.g. a particular SoC %, minutes of discharging the battery, and you can set the time (hour only) when the output turns off. It's not clear from the manual if you can set the hour to turn it on as well. I'm guessing that you could use this to turn on a water heater or EV (etc) at night to take advantage of cheaper grid energy then. Though switching off a charging EV like that is a bad idea, because of the massive transient caused.
March 27, 20242 yr Author Hi Coulomb, which of the following inverters is the better option to buy? Mecer Sol-i-ax-11m Axpert max twin 11kw Axpert max e 11kw Rct axpert mx2 11kw Rct axpert mx2 twin 11kw

However, all those listed are basically the same machine, some with and without the twin option, some with the removable and some with the round display. Only you can decide whether you need the twin option for the second output. The displays are a matter of taste and availability; I think most people use monitoring software these days rather than looking at the display and pressing buttons.
