Finally took the plunge and did my installation, did it over a few days , made a few mistakes . Today was the day that I got to power it all up only to find the axpert had a failure, no ac output. Rushed off to the supplier and got it swopped out and 30 min later the system finally came alive. Thank you to Coulomb for the info and a big thank you to Suly for assisting with advice and programming.

1: you get what you pay for
2: buying yourself you can choose what you want and where to buy from. The 2 units you mention do work but are not pure sine wave inverters. I have the 2000va unit running for about 3 or 4 yrs now with the same batteries , think i was just lucky with this
3: these systems cant really be upgraded
