May 2, 20242 yr Hi guys, I have just had solar installed and I would just like to confirm that the config done by the installer is right. The equipment is a Synsunk 5kva inverter and a Freedom Won eTower 5Kva battery. Here is an image of the settings the installer put in, I am not sure if they are the right or not, that is why I am asking. Keep in mind I dont want to do anything that would void the warranty. Are there any other settings I should consider? Secondly, we agreed not use grid charge so it was not set up, what would the charging amp be for grid charge if I do put it on. We don't need grid charge now, but I am pretty sure that on the 30/05 we will. Thank you in advance.

Hi Rhys on face value the settings seems to be ok, you effectively have 4kwh usable from your battery and pv charging at 2.4kw fully charged within 1.66 hours plus the load. We need your load profile and your pv array size as to make prediction how effective 5kwh batt will provide coverage. We are entering winter period so your solar output will be less efficient hence the reason we need to know your solar output power and house loads. Edited May 2, 20242 yr by TaliaB
May 2, 20242 yr Author Thanx Tali, my pv array size is 3.4kw. Where would I, or how would I get my load profile?

You can use the system flow chart on the inverter screen to determine the load power, pv power ect. Hopefully the installer did some training with you as to access the different screens flow view and grid view.Below screenshots.

May 2, 20242 yr Author @Scorp007 I am not sure what you would like to see but I can tell how much is being pulled from the grid and how much is coming from the PV/battery at any time. I am not sure if you are expecting more, or something else.

If all your loads are on the UPS side and nothing on non essential then I assume it's fine.
